Lola Vice officially signs with WWE Raw: former NXT Women’s Champion puts pen to paper on Monday Night Raw

The newest member of the WWE Raw roster was officially confirmed on tonight’s episode of Raw in San Antonio, Texas.

After losing her NXT Women’s Championship rematch to Kendal Grey in an Underground match, former NXT Women’s Champion Lola Vice finished up with the NXT brand.

In the weeks since, vignettes began airing for the arrival of Lola Vice on Monday Night Raw, with her debut being announced for last week’s episode of Raw in Mexico City.

Lola was part of a Money In The Bank qualifying match on the show, with her picking up the win over Raquel Rodriguez and NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan to earn her spot in the match.

Lola Vice officially joins Monday Night Raw roster

With the vignettes only airing on Raw only, as well as her qualifying match taking place on Raw, it was seemingly confirmed that Lola will be joining the Raw brand upon her call up from NXT.

On tonight’s show, it was made official that Lola was the newest member of the Raw roster, with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce bringing her onto the stage after signing her contract to join the Raw roster.

Lola was interrupted by Roxanne Perez on the stage after she had qualified for the Money In The Bank Ladder match earlier in the night, with the two of them getting into a confrontation on the stage.

Lola and Roxanne will be joined by Sol Ruca and Jacy Jayne in the match, as well as two other names yet to be announced.

No former world champions in Women’s Money In The Bank

As it currently stands, there are no former world champions currently slated to be part of either Money In The Bank match, with two spots left to fill on the women’s side.

While the men’s side will see a former world champion added on Friday, as Finn Balor, Gunther and CM Punk will face off for a spot in the match, the trend could continue for the women’s stars this year.

This Friday will see Lash Legend, Giulia and Charlotte Flair face off in a qualifier, with neither Giulia or Lash having been World Champion before.

The only other former World Champions still eligible to qualify aside from Charlotte are Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton, as the final spot will go to a current SmackDown roster member, and the only other two former World Champions, Alexa Bliss and Jade Cargill, already failing to qualify.
