Major Tag Team Title News On AEW Dynamite

In a backstage announcement, Renee Paquette shared a major piece of news about the AEW Tag Team Championships defense at Revolution.

Noting that the Gunns (or Ass Boys if you prefer) would have their first title defense at AEW Revolution, it would not be a traditional tag match.

Instead, there would be two tag team tournaments to determine who the other two teams are and Revolution would host a three-way match for the titles.

However, Paquette was interrupted by Daddy Ass!

The Acclaimed interrupted Renee’s announcement as Anthony Bowens stated that they were determined to invoke their rematch clause at Revolution, making that match a four-way match.

Next week on AEW Dynamite, a Tag Team Battle Royal for one slot in the match with the subsequent week hosting a Tag Team Casino Battle Royale for the other.

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Jeff Jarrett kicked off the show, there was a brutal Texas Tornado Tag Match, an AEW tag team returned and Wardlow shared an emotional story about his childhood.
