Seth Rollins was set to collide with Riddle at tonight’s WWE SummerSlam premium live event in Nashville, but the match was pulled from the show on this week’s episode of Raw.
Seth came out at the end of the show, where he Curb Stomped Riddle onto steel steps. WWE then announced that Riddle had suffered a stinger from the assault, and his match with Rollins at SummerSlam had been postponed.
The injury to Riddle is reportedly a kayfabe one, with the match being held off for a later date, leaving the status of both Riddle and Rollins up in the air for the show.
Per PWInsider, Riddle is currently backstage at tonight’s show in Nashville, and he is reportedly set to appear on tonight’s show at least for an interview or a promo.
