Major WWE Return Advertised For Next Week

When Bayley brutally attacked Sasha Banks on the 09/04 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, many fans were hoping we wouldn’t see Banks on TV for a number of weeks while she sold the attack, potentially returning at the 2021 Royal Rumble.

While she wasn’t on this week’s show, a FOX commercial for next week’s episode of SmackDown is promoting the return of the former NXT and Raw Women’s Champion to the show to speak about Bayley’s attack.

On this week’s show, Bayley cut a scathing promo explaining why she turned on Sasha Banks, noting that she attacked her former tag team partner before she attacked her. Bayley said that she never cared about Sasha and was just using her.

Later on in the show, Nikki Cross defeated Alexa Bliss, Lacey Evans and Tamina in a fatal-four way match to earn a shot at Bayley’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions later this month.

At this time, nothing has been reported with regards to the plans WWE has for the Sasha Banks and Bayley feud, and there is currently no word on when the eventual match between the two former best friends will take place.
