Last night on Raw, Mike and Maria Kannelis teamed up to take on Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins in mixed tag team action.
This was Mike’s first ever match on Raw, and Maria’s first since December 2009. This comes a few weeks after the couple reportedly signed new five-year deals with the company.
After Maria refused to tag in and her husband Mike was brutalised by Seth Rollins, Kannelis took to the mic and claimed that she is pregnant, preventing Becky Lynch from attacking her.
After calling her husband “my b*tch” backstage before the match, Maria questioned how Mike was able to get her pregnant.
Some fans and wrestling critics alike were unsure about whether Maria’s pregnancy was part of a storyline or actually true.
However, Dave Meltzer is reporting on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that Maria is, in fact, pregnant, explaining why Becky Lynch didn’t attack her on Raw.
We waited nearly ten years for Maria Kannelis to have another match on Raw, and it looks like we won’t be getting another one anytime soon.
