After signing with AEW, Mark Henry revealed whether or not he’ll be sporting his famous salmon suit on Rampage.
On Raw in 2013, Mark Henry announced his retirement from pro-wrestling while wearing a pink blazer. Ultimately, Henry revealed that he had no intention of hanging up his boots, ambushing John Cena to earn himself a WWE Championship match.
Speaking on Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette, Henry revealed that WWE currently has possession of the iconic jacket. Stating that he could always pay a visit to the WWE archive, Henry noted that the suit will forever be tied to that WWE angle.
Also mentioning his AEW-debut blazer, Henry said:
“It’s in the WWE archive. If I want it back I can get it. But I think the memory of that was there, and I have no problem with it. The fans will be able to see it, I’m coming over here fresh. I got a lot of compliments on my blue blazer I came out with.”
At Double or Nothing, Henry lapped up the applause in a stylish blue jacket. The World’s Strongest Man certainly knows how to rock a suit.
Although he’s excited to work with a new company, Henry has discussed some criticisms he has with AEW matches.
