Michael Elgin did not have kind words for Moose on Twitter today. The Impact Wrestling star initiated the exchange by saying Moose couldn’t last an hour in the ring with him.
Moose responded by saying Elgin couldn’t do what he does and challenged him to try out for a football team. This is where Elgin kicked the trash talk into high gear.
I never claimed to be a football player, never played a day in my life. But the fact you claim to be an actual pro wrestler is a slap in the face. Don’t claim you can last an hour in the ring with me. You know it’s a lie. You’ll have a fake injury or something.

Impact aired their Rebellion special over the last two weeks. Among the events on the show, Moose brought back the old TNA World Heavyweight Championship belt and declared himself champion.
Elgin has been with Impact for just over a year after making the jump from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Elgin was meant to challenge Tessa Blanchard for the Impact World Championship in a triple threat match also including Eddie Edwards but Blanchard was unable to make it to the show.
