WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has now reacted to Cody Rhodes & Andrade El Idolo’s table spot during their street fight on AEW Dynamite.
Rhodes hit Andrade El Idolo with an inverted suplex through a flaming table in the final moments of the match, landing back-first onto the burning wood.
Foley shared a clip of the brutal bump on Twitter, noting that Rhodes will probably be feeling it this morning, writing:
“I hope @CodyRhodes is ok. That’s probably going to hurt for a while.”
The hardcore legend speaks from experience, going through more than his fair share of burning tables during his career. One of the most iconic fire spots in pro-wrestling history is when Foley was speared through a flaming table by Edge at WrestleMania 22.
AEW has now shared photos of Rhodes back following the show, revealing the gruesome aftermath of the street fight.
Ahead of the show, Rhodes addressed his AEW future and contract status with the promotion
