WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has now reacted to Cody Rhodes & Andrade El Idolo’s table spot during their street fight on AEW Dynamite.
Rhodes hit Andrade El Idolo with an inverted suplex through a flaming table in the final moments of the match, landing back-first onto the burning wood.
Foley shared a clip of the brutal bump on Twitter, noting that Rhodes will probably be feeling it this morning, writing:
“I hope @CodyRhodes is ok. That’s probably going to hurt for a while.”
The hardcore legend speaks from experience, going through more than his fair share of burning tables during his career. One of the most iconic fire spots in pro-wrestling history is when Foley was speared through a flaming table by Edge at WrestleMania 22.
AEW has now shared photos of Rhodes back following the show, revealing the gruesome aftermath of the street fight.
