MJF Comments On Potential Blood & Guts Match With The Inner Circle

Since MJF formed The Pinnacle on AEW Dynamite two weeks ago, fans have been speculating about a major match with The Inner Circle. More specifically, they have been speculating about a possible Blood and Guts match.

While speaking with Sports Illustrated, MJF said that a Blood and Guts match between the two factions would be the best ever. He also compared it to the classic WarGames matches of old. Here is the quote:

“Those old-school WarGames matches, they are absolutely incredible spectacles. If Inner Circle-the Pinnacle does happen, it would be the best version ever of that.”

MJF turned on The Inner Circle following his match at AEW Revolution. He made it appear that The Inner Circle would turn on Chris Jericho but instead, he revealed his new faction. FTR, Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard joined forces with MJF and Wardlow and decimated The Inner Circle.

No member of The Inner Circle has been seen since but their eventual return will undoubtedly lead to a major match against AEW’s newest faction.

AEW had scheduled a Blood and Guts match between the Inner Circle and The Elite prior to the start of the pandemic. However, the pandemic forced the match to be canceled.
