A WWE star has discussed the possibility of former AEW World Champion MJF potentially joining the company in the future.
MJF has not appeared on AEW television since the Worlds End pay-per-view in December, when he lost the AEW World Championship to Samoa Joe in his hometown of Long Island.
While MJF had been hyping up the ‘bidding war of 2024’, and he has been removed from the company’s roster page, he is believed to be locked into a deal with the company.
However, WWE star Liv Morgan spoke to the Gorilla Position podcast, where she was asked if MJF was going to join WWE.
She said:
“I don’t know [laughs]. Why would I know that? I have no idea.”
Liv was then asked about whether she had any conversations with MJF about him potentially joining the company.
She responded:
“No. I don’t know. It’s not something we talk about. I mean, I guess we’re just gonna have to see. I don’t know the status of his dealings. So I mean, I’m sure he’d be interested. Who wouldn’t?”
Liv seemingly turned heel on this week’s Raw show, when she was credited for injuring Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, leading to her vacating the title.
