The winner of the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale has been revealed and will face MJF next week on AEW Dynamite.
On the October 18 AEW Dynamite, the main event saw this year’s Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale to determine who would face Maxwell Jacob Friedman for his Dynamite Diamond Ring on next week’s October 25 episode from Philadelphia.
Several competitors made their presence known throughout the course of the bout, including Daniel Garcia who constantly had his differences with his tag team partner Matt Menard due to his dancing.
With the show taking place in Houston, Texas, Dustin Rhodes had his fair share of moments with one instance seeing MJF, who was on commentary, paying Dustin money to deliver the Shattered Dreams on Juice Robinson.
This didn’t stop Robinson from making it to the very end of this battle royal.
The bout came down to Juice and Max Caster, who was looking to impress the AEW World Champion MJF after once again proposing them aligning to face Bullet Club Gold.
However, Jay White would attack the AEW World Champion at the commentary desk. Maxwell Jacob Friedman looked to have the upper hand when White delivered a low blow to leave him laying.
With MJF down, Caster was distracted, so this allowed Juice to put his “fake ring” on and deliver the Left Hand of God on Max before eliminating him to win the match.
Juice Robinson will now face MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring on the October 25 episode of AEW Dynamite from Philadelphia.
Friedman will then move on to face Jay White for the AEW World Championship on Saturday, November 18 at AEW Full Gear. For the full lineup for the show, click here.
