To kick off tonight’s AEW Dynamite (March 15) AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman kicked off the show with a unique celebration.
In what ended up being a fascinating segment of television, AEW Dynamite kicked off with the AEW World Champion MJF and his “Re-Bar Mitzvah”.
Coming out to the ring with four women who gave him a smooch before entering the ring, after his short oratory exhibition, he called out a cast of fellow mensch to raise the self-proclaimed ‘Iron Man’ in celebration in a customary chair dance to a jubilant rendition of Hava Nagila, however the party was busted up.
First by the music and entrance of Jungle Boy Jack Perry to crash the party and then before he was able to add much to the conversation, Sammy Guevara made his entrance.
Not to be left out, the fourth pillar of AEW, Darby Allin joined the party and that’s when the real fireworks kicked off.
However amid the verbal jousting, MJF grew frustrated with his birthday celebration being interrupted and took off his sunglasses and hat to reveal his gruesome face after his sixty-minute Iron Man match against Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution.
Both of MJF’s eyes appeared blood filled as apparently his previous hematoma has progressed.
