Shocking End To MJF’s First Appearance As AEW World Champion AEW

New AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman made his first appearance as world champion on tonight’s AEW Dynamite show.

At AEW Full Gear, MJF won the championship with help from William Regal, who betrayed Jon Moxley in the main event.

Regal made his way to the ring at the start of the segment, introducing the new champion.

MJF hugged Regal before taking to the mic. He then tells the crowd to keep their mouths shut as he explained how his and Regal’s union formed.

MJF said that Regal sent him an email after the Firm attacked him, telling him that he believes he had become week, and that if he wants to be the champion, he should grab the brass ring instead of the diamond ring.

MJF then said that Regal is a genius, so he listened to Regal telling him to use the brass knuckles, because he wanted to leave Moxley with an emotional scar.

MJF then moved on to The Firm, who he said he respects, because he would have done the exact same thing.

He then said that he is above the AEW World Championship belt, as it lacks class, but more importantly it reminds him of everyone who held it before.

He then unveiled a new belt with a Burberry strap, which he called the ‘Triple B’, the Big Burberry Belt.

He then ran down members of the AEW roster including Ricky Starks, Eddie Kingston and Bryan Danielson, who he called the ‘middest of the mid’.

He then said that he will us Triple B as a bargaining chip in the bidding war of 2024.

MJF then said he hopes the right Khan signs the contract, before shouting out his ‘boys’ Jolly Old Saint Nick and ‘Trips’.

He then teased that he would be done with wrestling in 2024, and that Hollywood would win.

He then said that he would have a ‘Reign of Terror’ that would make Hulk Hogan, JBL and Jeff Jarrett’s seem short, and would make Bruno Sammartino turn over in his ‘sh**ty little grave’.

He then told Regal that it couldn’t have happened without him, before laying him out with the brass knuckles in a shocking betrayal.
