More Crossover Between NXT & Main Roster Expected On WWE Main Event?

There is more crossover between NXT and the main roster is expected on WWE Main Event.

During the October 10 Raw taping from Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center, former NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes faced Cedric Alexander on the WWE Main Event taping.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update following Melo’s appearance, noting that they were told to expect more crossover between brands and more NXT stars to get looks on Main Event.

Various NXT talent have appeared on Main Event over the past few weeks, including Von Wagner at last night’s taping.

Hayes’ appearance came off the heels of NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Nikkita Lyon showing up in the crowd at the Extreme Rules event in Philadelphia.

The report also notes that Shawn Daivari produced the Carmelo Hayes vs. Cedric Alexander match for Main Event.
