WWE has now officially confirmed several departures from the company after news emerged late last week that releases were taking place.
There were a number of roster cuts from WWE this past Friday, namely the NXT and Peformance Center roster.
Among those who announced their exits were NXT stars Adriana Rizzo and Jasper Troy.
Rizzo, a former member of the D’Angelo Family, had been absent for a while due to injury but recently returned to Evolve as a ringside interview.
Troy emerged on NXT last year after winning WWE LFG season one, and even held the Speed Championship following a win over El Grande Americano.
They did both release statements but WWE has now removed them from the active roster page on its official website, confirming their departures.
Also now confirmed to be out of WWE is Wendy Choo, who hasn’t yet released any comments on her exit, but has also been removed from WWE’s active roster.
Choo was one of the longest tenured names in NXT having signed in early 2019, and recently held the WWE Evolve Women’s Championship before losing the title to Nikkita Lyons.
The other names on the reported list of releases were PJ Vasa, Braxton Cole, Zena Sterling, Marcus Brown, Ellen Akesson, Anya Rune and referee Gary Wilson.
None of those were on the WWE website roster page like Rizzo, Troy and Choo were to have been removed.
Will NXT’s Kelani Jordan Win Her WWE Money In The Bank Qualifier
The 2026 Money in the Bank qualifying matches have kicked off in WWE this week with the premium live event taking place in New Orleans on October 10.
With Sol Ruca already qualified for the women, next week’s Raw in Mexico City will play host to another three-way, this one between Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez, Lola Vice making her official main roster debut, and NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan.
It would have been great to see Jordan represent NXT and include some new blood in this year’s Money in the Bank, but it doesn’t look like that’ll be the case.
Both Rodriguez and Vice seemingly have a much better shot at qualifying than Jordan does, as Rodriguez is genuinely booked strongly and is a current main roster champion, and, as noted, this is Vice’s official main roster call-up, so one would think she won’t be beaten immediately.
It’ll be good to see Jordan on Raw, but it’s a shame that she seemingly won’t be going any further, as it would have done her, NXT and WWE a whole a lot of good to have her break through out of nowhere.
