New Match & Roman Reigns Segment Set For SmackDown

A new Roman Reigns segment and match have been announced for tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.

Last week, Roman Reigns retained his Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio inside Hell in a Cell. WWE has revealed that tonight, The Tribal Chief will hold a victory celebration.

Ahead of Money in the Bank next month, and SummerSlam in August, it is likely that Reigns will meet his next championship challenger before the end of tonight’s show.

Also on the show, Seth Rollins will team with Bayley to face Cesaro and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. At Hell in a Cell, Belair defended her gold against Bayley inside the Devil’s Playground. Rollins pinned Cesaro in a singles match at the same event.

Reigns, Belair and Bayley are being advertised for the upcoming WWE UK live tour. Big E, Sasha Banks and The Usos are also being promoted to appear during the overseas tour.

On Raw this week, a WWE Championship match and Raw Women’s Title bout were announced for Money in the Bank on July 18. A number of red brand stars also qualified for the annual ladder match.
