A new WWE star has taken credit for NXT’s ratings success.
As previously reported, the November 7 episode of WWE NXT saw a big increase in the ratings with 794,000 viewers and 0.26 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
On this past Tuesday’s show, the closing segment saw Lexis King provoked a physical interaction between former best friends Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams.
Following the ratings being revealed, King took credit for the ratings success for WWE NXT this week. He wrote:
Leave it to a bonafide star like me to draw ratings and elevate everyone around me! Trick finally got his thumb out of his mouth and now we are one step closer to solving this conundrum… All thanks to the future KING of #WWENXT
The segment saw Trick Williams punch Carmelo Hayes after trying to hit Lexis King. The two friends embraced, but Hayes showed some resentment on his face to close the broadcast.
King has only wrestled in one televised match since signing with WWE and joining the NXT brand.
