It looks like the next WWE NXT premium live event may run on the same day as Ring of Honor’s next pay-per-view.
This Saturday, October 29 will mark NXT’s latest premium live event entitled Halloween Havoc.
This event comes off the heels of the brand airing on Tuesday at the same time as the October 18 edition of AEW Dynamite.
On that same episode, All Elite Wrestling announced that Ring of Honor’s Final Battle event will take place on Saturday, December 10.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), NXT talent have been informed that December 10 is internally slated for a WWE NXT PLE.
The show is also rumored to be associated with the Deadline trademark that was filed by WWE. However, this hasn’t been confirmed as the title for the event.
Several talent and staff have been made aware to keep that date open for a tentative show.
Although this is the same date as ROH Final Battle, the two events will most likely not go head-to-head as Ring of Honor is scheduled to run in the afternoon, while NXT planning to run at night.
The report notes that the plan is to hold the event from the WWE Performance Center and is expected to be announced at the Halloween Havoc event.
