New Japan’s Dominion card already looks incredible with Okada vs. Omega IV and Jericho vs. Naito confirmed but more matches are continuing to be announced, pushing the show up and up the must-see list.

Aside from the two mega-matches, The Young Bucks will finally be getting a shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships, currently in the possession of Evil and Sanada. The Bucks issued a challenge to the champions this past weekend which makes the announcement of the match no surprise. This will be a historic occasion for the Jackson brothers who have never won the IWGP Heavyweight Tag belts and a win would definitely be their crowning achievement.
Rey Mysterio has also been confirmed for the card and while I was hoping that he would be accepting Will Ospreay’s challenge from Strong Style Evolved and giving the Japanese fans another dream match, it doesn’t seem likely.
It has been revealed that Ospreay will be defending his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against an opponent yet to be announced in a match separate to Mysterio’s.

Given that Marty Scurll attacked Mysterio last time he was in a New Japan ring, expect the ‘Villain’ to be his opponent. Likewise with Ospreay recently suffering a beatdown at the hands of a returning Taiji Ishimori, don’t be surprised if it’s ‘The Bone Soldier’ vs. ‘The Aerial Assassin’ in Osaka.
Hiroki Goto will also be defending the NEVER Openweight Championship in a triple threat match against Michael Elgin and Taichi.
Who else do you want to see added to the card? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter here.
