A couple of years ago, NJPW was a fixture on AXS TV. Then, Anthem purchased AXS and the network became the home of IMPACT Wrestling. NJPW and WOW both found their way off the network.
Now, according to a report from F4Wonline, it seems NJPW could be heading back to the network. Dave Meltzer has said “the talks are enough to where the odds are considered decent a deal ends up being reached”
For a long time, NJPW wanted nothing to do with IMPACT based on lingering trust issues stemming from the booking of Okada when he spent time in TNA/IMPACT. Now, it seems the relationship is on the mend.

This week David Finley and Juice Robinson were on IMPACT. Chris Bey and TJP have been on NJPW programming. So, it seems this may all be part of a big working relationship between the two companies and AEW.
There were no details on what the show might be, but NJPW is now providing content to the Roku channel. It’s possible NJPW Strong could be looking for a home on US television.
