With the big return of ROH for Honor Club subscribers, a major title match saw a Ring of Honor star call out AEW star Bryan Danielson.
During his match with Blake Christian, Zack Sabre Jr. took a moment to taunt the camera and addressed and unspecified “Bryan.”
Defending his NJPW World TV title against Blake Christian, ZSJ seemed to have his hands full as the match progressed however as the duo drew nearer to the time limit, the tides turned.
With less than five minutes remaining, there were multiple near falls as Blake Christian continued to test the champ but in the end, he would come up short.
The aforementioned self proclaimed “best technical wrestler in the world,” won via submission to retain his NJPW World Television title before the fifteen minute limit elapsed.
Elsewhere on the debut edition of this new era of ROH, the show kicked off with a big match between Mark Briscoe and Slim J.
