A late change was made to the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, when Meta Four member Jakara Jackson was removed from the tournament after not being medically cleared to compete.
Jackson was originally slated to face off against Arianna Grace in the first round, with Brinley Reece instead debuting to face Grace in the first round.
It was later reported that Jackson had suffered a broken wrist, which she has now confirmed on her Instagram story.
Jakara shared a photo of her broken wrist, along with the caption:
1st time having a bone break my entire life.
For the mfs who thinks this is a game… it ain’t. Wait on it.
Jakara made an appearance on last night’s NXT Level Up show, accompanying Lash Legend during her match with Fallon Henley.
Arianna Grace defeated Brinley Reece in the opening round, with her set to face Kelani Jordan in the semi-finals on next week’s Halloween Havoc special episode of NXT.
The other semi-final match will pit Lola Vice against Karmen Petrovic, and the two have gone back and forth on social media over the past few days in the lead up to their bout.
The main event of Halloween Havoc night one will see Becky Lynch defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Lyra Valkyria.
