With reports that WWE is planning for The Rock to return at Survivor Series this year, we now know the planned location for the show too.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast, who has been on the money with his reports lately, tweeted:
The plan is to have it in Brooklyn as of right now but it’s very early and things can always change.
Zarian also backed up Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter report that WWE is hoping to have The Rock there at Survivor Series too, writing:
Daves’s report is correct. WWE is hoping to get the Rock for Survivor Series.
While not confirming it, this does appear to make the rumors of Roman Reigns vs The Rock at WrestleMania 38 much more likely.
Meltzer had reported that WWE was shooting to do the match in 2022, “but that’s also 1,500 plans ago”, so don’t be completely surprised if it doesn’t happen.
