Possible Spoiler On Former Champions Returning To WWE

Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingNews.co), Akam and Rezar of the Authors of Pain are in Orlando, Florida, ahead of NXT.

While there’s no confirmation that they will be on the show, PWInsider described this report as a ‘likely WWE NXT spoiler’.

This comes after Fightful’s previous report that several sources told them that the duo have been under contract to WWE since 2022.

Specifically, Fightful were told that it ‘was before Vince McMahon came back, because that put a halt on all signings besides new recruits’.

AOP were listed on an internal travel list back in May.

PWInsider also recently reported that the former NXT Tag Team Champions’ previous manager Paul Ellering has also been spotted in Orlando.

The duo last wrestled for WWE in March 2020, ahead of their WWE releases that September.
