Recent WWE Angle Received High Praise Backstage

According to Fightful Select, the angle between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns from Friday Night SmackDown last week has been praised very highly by people backstage within WWE:

We heard a lot of positive reaction in response to the Kevin Owens/Roman Reigns angle on last week’s episode of Smackdown. Not that it would be a surprise to anyone, but the Roman Reigns performances and execution of his angles have been well received ever since he reappeared at Summerslam. After Owens was relegated to little or no use for months, several that we spoke to felt that he was able to rise to the occasion and match Reigns from a promo perspective.

It’s no surprise that Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns are delivering with their feud right now on SmackDown. The pair are two of the best promos and workers in WWE right now.

It was confirmed on SmackDown last night that Roman Reigns will put his Universal Championship on the line in a Tables Ladders and Chairs match against Owens at TLC this month in what should be a great match.
