On Tuesday night’s Smackdown Live, Sami Zayn unveiled himself as Shinsuke Nakamura’s new mouth-piece during an episode of Miz TV.
Sami said that many people on Smackdown required his guidance, with the current Intercontinental Champion being the first he would help. Zayn then ordered Nakamura to attack The Miz.
If Dave Meltzer’s report in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter is to be believed, then Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura will continue their story with The Miz in the coming weeks.
Meltzer is reporting that despite being a Raw star, The Miz will challenge Shinsuke Nakamura for his Intercontinental Championship at the upcoming Clash of Champions pay-per-view event.
This is noteworthy as it would certainly confirm that Ali and Shinsuke Nakamura storyline had been dropped.
It was previously reported that Ali and Nakamura would go one-on-one at the upcoming pay-per-view over Shinsuke’s Intercontinental Championship.
