Former WWE Stars Announce Launch Of New Wrestling Company

A pair of former WWE stars have announced the launch of a brand new wrestling promotion.

Since departing WWE upon the end of their contracts in October 2023, former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) have been busy working in promotions all across the world – most notably TNA Wrestling.

But now, the pair have made a significant announcement pertaining to the launch of their very own wrestling promotion named Burning Heart Pro Wrestling.

As announced via a video uploaded to Twitter, Drake and Gibson announced that the new company would be “led by a committee of top international wrestlers”.

It was also announced that Burning Heart Pro Wrestling’s very first show will be coming on June 21 from Liverpool, England’s Olympia venue.

As noted by Gibson this will be the first time the pair have competed in Liverpool in five years, having previously done so on the independent circuit and whilst in WWE NXT UK.
