There was a botch during the Bloodline versus Randy Orton and Kevin Owens match that opened tonight’s WWE Backlash you may have missed.
In a pivotal moment during the Bloodline’s match against RKO & KO, the referee was ‘pulled off the count’ by a debuting Tanga Loa.
However fans watching on Peacock didn’t have any idea that from an alternate angle, the moment looked completely different.
On broadcast it really appeared as though the referee was pulled away from the count by Tanga Loa before the latter entered the ring.
However in fan footage from those in attendance and seated behind commentary, it actually went down a little bit differently in real time.
The referee seems to arch himself backwards and push himself off the count as Tanga Loa was slightly behind on the timing however the angle clearly called for the pinfall to not be completed.
In the end Tanga Loa would go on to assist the Bloodline in not only besting Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, but also seemingly reforming a new Bloodline 2.0, much to the chagrin of Paul Heyman.
