This week on SmackDown, Lucha House Party competed in a four-way tag match that was ultimately won by John Morrison and The Miz. Morrison and Miz will now face New Day at Super ShowDown later this month.
It was Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado that represented Lucha House Party in the match, and the reason that Kalisto didn’t compete has seemingly just been revealed.
Former United States Champion Kalisto, who recently penned a new WWE deal, reportedly suffered a separated shoulder and is on the sidelines.
Pro Wrestling Sheet‘s Ryan Satin is reporting that Kalisto suffered the injury on 12/30, meaning he has been out of action for over a month already.
“Wrestling Sheet has learned Kalisto has been out of action as of late due to injury.
“According to sources, the Lucha House Party member suffered a shoulder separation that does not require surgery at this time. It’s unclear, however, how long he’ll be unable to wrestle.”
It should be noted that while Kalisto isn’t cleared to wrestle, his injury does not require surgery. There is currently no word on when he is set to return, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for that.
