Report: WWE Wants Huge NXT Star On The Main Roster

NXT UK has been under fire recently for the conduct of some of its wrestlers, and it appears that WWE is keen to distance one of the brand’s biggest stars from the promotion by bringing him to the main roster.

Ever since WALTER debuted at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool at the start of 2019, he has been a completely dominant force within the promotion. He has made the odd trip to the United States to wrestle for NXT or at Survivor Series, but it has been very clear that he has no intention of making a permanent move.

Despite this, Dave Meltzer has reported on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is still very high on the Austrian, and are desperate to have him move to the main roster…because who needs stars in NXT UK, anyway?

Unfortunately for Vince and his mates, WALTER is not budging, and remains adamant that he does not have any plans to move to the US.

There may be a glimmer of hope for his main roster fans, as WALTER was also adamant that he had not joined NXT UK, and see how that ended up.

He is undoubtedly someone who would work well on the main roster, I mean, he’s foreign and really big, and that’s basically the most obvious heel ever in Vince’s eyes.
