WWE star Indi Hartwell has shared a heartfelt message for Rhea Ripley following Saturday’s (February 24) Elimination Chamber event.
Rhea Ripley headlined the WWE premium live event in her home country, defending her Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax.
The Eradicator was ultimately victorious, pinning Jax after 14 minutes of action to retain her gold before celebrating with her family who were sitting at ringside.
Indi Hartwell, another Australian WWE star, has taken to social media to thank Ripley for paving the way.
Hartwell tweeted:
Thank you Rhea for being such a bloody trailblazer. Australia is so proud of you ❤️
Ripley replied to Hartwell’s comments, writing:
❤️ we are all in this together 🇦🇺
Hartwell was in action during the Elimination Chamber pre-show, teaming with Candice LeRae to unsuccessfully challenge for Asuka and Kairi Sane’s Women’s Tag Team Championship.
WWE has now confirmed Rhea Ripley’s match for WrestleMania 40, with Becky Lynch winning the Elimination Chamber match to earn a shot at Ripley’s title.
