WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair believes that wrestling legend Harley Race would’ve dominated the UFC.

Race was a highly respected wrestler, with many competitors of the past and present inspired by the late star.

Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Flair praised the late star’s toughness, noting that even without any training, Race was an excellent fighter.

Believing that Race would’ve ruled the UFC, if he so chose to follow MMA rules, Flair said:

“Harley would’ve been the king of the UFC if he was alive. Without any training. You have no idea.

“He’d headbutt ya, bite ya, I’ve seen him pull guy’s hair out of his head. UFC, as tough as they are, they’ve still got rules (laughs).

“Brock (Lesnar) is our version of Harley Race today. The difference is Brock wouldn’t bite your nose off. I don’t think he has it in him. Brock wouldn’t pull your eye out.”

While Brock Lesnar was a wrestler before his UFC run, there are several current WWE stars who were MMA competitors before their pro-wrestling careers, including Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville.
