WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has reacted to fans who have claimed that his recent tweet was an attempt to get a job with AEW.
On Saturday (November 20), Flair posted a ‘throwback’ photo of himself and CM Punk, telling AEW to let him and Punk talk for 10 minutes if they ‘want a rating’.
Many fans have speculated that Flair has his eye on a role in AEW. The WWE Hall of Famer has since noted that he was not looking for a job, and was just sharing memories.
Stating that he doesn’t plan to move from one ‘great company’ to another, Flair tweeted:
“Just Having Fun And Sharing Memories Does Not Imply I’m Looking For A Job! I Left One Great Company & It Wasn’t Because Of @VinceMcMahon ! And I’m Not Going To Work For Another Great One, And It’s Not Because Of @TonyKhan! It’s As Simple As That.”

Flair was released from his WWE contract in August. The Hall of Famer has publicly requested for WWE to return two classic title belts, believing that the company is trying to ‘erase’ his legacy.
