A rising WWE star has commented on a recent major win following the last night’s NXT New Years Evil episode.

Last night’s show featured numerous big matches, including the finals of the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament, with Oba Femi taking on Riley Osbourne.

The match saw Femi dominate his way to victory, earning him the contract for a future championship opportunity.

WWE has now shared a backstage exclusive interview with Femi, where he discussed his victory, reflecting on meeting with a fortune teller in Nigeria, who told him he’d be conquering industries in the future.

Oba Femi joins Jordan Myles and Carmelo Hayes as winners of the NXT Breakout Tournament, with Roxanne Perez and Lola Vice winning the women’s tournaments.

Vice made her presence felt on last night’s show, teasing a cash in of her contract on Lyra Valkyria following her win over Blair Davenport, only to be thwarted by Tatum Paxley.

Last night’s show saw surprise appearances from numerous SmackDown stars, including Kevin Owens and Grayson Waller.
