Rosa Mendes Reveals Offer She’d Accept For WWE Return WWE

Rosa Mendes has revealed what it would from WWE to get her to lace up her boots again and enter a Royal Rumble.

The 2022 women’s Royal Rumble bout featured many stars who weren’t under contract with WWE, from returning legends to released stars.

Speaking to Ring the Belle, Mendes discussed the possibility of a future Royal Rumble return, noting:

“I said I wasn’t going to do it but then I thought about it and, you know what, I would do it for charity. I would do it if WWE offered me this really good amount and give it to a charity of my choice for a good cause, and I would do it for that. Yeah, and I’d give that whole check to them.”

Mendes’ stipulation is indeed a selfless one, as to enter the Royal Rumble would require her to stand her ground against 30 other competitors.

The Royal Rumble is known as an unpredictable event which can include shocking returns of familiar faces, and sometimes the arrival of new ones.

It is a cornerstone of WWE’s premium live events, and sees two competitors starting out in the ring, with a new entrant arriving every two minutes.

Competitors are eliminated by going over the top rope and having both their feet touch the floor.

Rosa Mendes made her name on WWE as a Diva Search contestant in 2006.

Previously managing former WWE Tag Team Champions Primo and Epico, Mendes also competed in the ring herself, most recently wrestling for WWE in April 2015.

After briefly working as a correspondent for the SmackDown brand, Rosa Mendes featured as a cast member for the E! and WWE reality series, Total Divas.

Rose Mendes finished up with WWE in February 2017 before making occasional appearances on the independent circuit.
