Rush Wants To Use AEW And ROH To Show Why He’s One Of The Best In The World RON

Rush wants to use AEW and ROH to show why he’s one of the best in the world.

Rush made his first appearance for All Elite Wrestling at Double Or Nothing in a segment with Andrade El Idolo, reuniting as La Faccion Ingobernables.

The two-time ROH World Champion has since defeated Penta Oscuro in his AEW singles debut and then defeated his brother Dragon Lee at the ROH Death Before Dishonor event this past Saturday.

In a new interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Rush spoke about the importance of his match with Dragon Lee and what his goal is in these two promotions.

He said:

“It was an honor to wrestle my brother, I wanted that match because it was an opportunity for the two of us to show the world who we are. People got to see why Dragon Lee is a two-time ROH TV champion. They got to see why I am a two-time ROH world champion. They got to see us at our best.

“My brother has a great future. He is very talented and very young with incredible physique and strength, and we both learned from our father. He taught us to love and respect each other, except for when we’re in the ring, and he was also very proud of our match.”

Rush continued on to reveal that he is fully healthy and intends utilizing AEW and ROH to show why he is one of the best in the world, saying:

“I’m completely healthy. I’m at my best with the claws and courage to face the best in the world. I want to wrestle for AEW and ROH, and I will show that ‘El Toro Blanco’ is the best in the world.”

Rush will challenge Jon Moxley for the Interim AEW World Championship on the July 27 Fight For The Fallen special of AEW Dynamite.
