Santos Escobar Returns To NXT 2.0 To Dismantle D’Angelo Family

A big return on tonight’s NXT 2.0 to shift the dynamics of multiple factions!

Tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0 (August 2) featured a WWE NXT 2.0 Men’s Tag Team Championship match between the Creed Brothers and Tony D’Angelo and Stacks Lorenzo.

After earlier matches saw the vacated NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships filled and a North American Championship match, the WWE NXT 2.0 Men’s Tag Team Championships were also on the line on tonight’s show.

With Elektra Lopez sneaking a crowbar to Tony D’Angelo, it seemed as though Tony D was going to land a cheap shot on one of the Creeds while the ref was distracted but it was quickly grabbed by a returning Santos Escobar!

The Creeds were able to capture the pinfall victory as the returning Escobar reunited with Legado Del Fantasma, celebrating post-match on the ramp.

The other trio, Diamond Mine (Creed Brothers and Damon Kemp) celebrated outside the ring whilst inside, Tony D’Angelo and Stacks remained stunned at the turn of events.

Elsewhere on the show, NXT 2.0 held a fatal-four way to determine the new Women’s Tag Team Champions and the North American Championship was on the line.
