Sasha Banks Believes WWE Women’s Division Is ‘Greatest Of Any Era’

Sasha Banks has praised WWE’s women’s roster, noting that she believes it’s currently the ‘best it’s ever been’.

The Boss been involved with a number of historic moments for the WWE women’s division, from the first female Royal Rumble in 2018, to the first women’s singles WrestleMania main-event in April.

Speaking with Bleacher Report, Banks argued that the women currently in WWE make up the greatest female roster of any era. Optimistic about the future, Banks said:

“I feel like we’ve been knocking down every door that’s been closed in front of us. If they keep making more doors, we’re going to keep knocking them down. The WWE women’s division is the best it’s ever been. I think it’s the greatest of any era from top to bottom, and I can’t wait to see what more the future brings, even from NXT 2.0. To see how many women are down there from when I first started, there was only a group of eight and now there’s maybe a group of 30. Just to see the growth from then to now is so beautiful.”

Banks interrupted the women’s title exchange on Friday’s edition of SmackDown, seemingly setting up a championship feud with Charlotte Flair.

It has been reported that individuals within Flair’s circle were privately pushing the idea of Flair trying to get out of her current WWE contract. You can read about that here.
