Scrapped Match From AEW Dynamite November 9 Revealed

Scrapped Match From AEW Dynamite November 9 Revealed AEW

Plans for a match that was scrapped from Wednesday’s (November 9) edition of AEW Dynamite have been revealed.

The episode featured six matches in total, with Bryan Danielson defeating Sammy Guevara in a two out of three falls match in the main event.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), there was originally one more match planned for the show, featuring Darby Allin.

The report noted that it’s believed that Cole Karter was going to be Allin’s opponent.

It is unclear why this bout was nixed.

Karter notably attacked Allin during his bout against Jay Lethal, allowing Lethal to capitalise and pick up the victory.

Following the bout, Jeff Jarrett made his shock AEW debut, laying Allin out with a guitar shot.

Tony Khan later confirmed that Jarrett was All Elite, announcing him as the new Director of Business Development.

Jarrett recently opened up about his decision to join AEW, noting that it wasn’t an overnight decision.

Allin and Sting are set to team to face Jarrett and Lethal at AEW Full Gear on November 19.
