Seth Rollins Appears In Backstage Segment With Several NXT Stars WWE

Seth Rollins appeared in a backstage segment touted by WWE on social media as the past, future and present of WWE NXT (June 20).

Getting the nod from his trainer in a backstage segment, Seth Rollins met up with Nathan Frazer.

With Rollins lightly ribbing him about having to carry around the very heavy Heritage Cup, he also took time to tell Frazer he was proud of him.

Reminding him to not forget to pass wisdom along, Rollins was next met by Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams.

Sharing screen time with Rollins, at first it seemed as though it was set to be contemptuous interaction but quite the contrary.

With Seth Rollins showcasing his signature cackle, he lightened the mood between the trio and they ended up sharing mutual respect with Rollins being complimentary of Hayes.

Elsewhere set for tonight’s special edition, week one of NXT Gold Rush, multiple main roster appearances after the show kicked off with Mustafa Ali serving as special guest referee in the North American Championship match.

Before their big NXT Championship match next week on week two of Gold Rush, tonight champ Carmelo Hayes is set to come face to face with Baron Corbin.

Also, Dana Brooke took on Cora Jade after their bubbling rivalry boiled over last week in a backstage encounter went on to be a brutal battle in the ring.

Still to come, in the night’s main event, Seth Rollins is scheduled to put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line against NXT star Bron Breakker.
