Well that came a bit out of nowhere. Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman are the new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions after beating Anderson & Gallows of the O.C. in the main event of tonight’s Raw.
Strowman had a US Title match with AJ Styles earlier in the night, but it got thrown out after Ando & Gallows got involved.
Rollins came out to save Strowman from that beatdown, and told Braun that he wants him to be his next challenger for the Universal Title.
He said that before that though, he wanted to face the O.C. for their Raw Tag Titles in the main event tonight, and, well, they did. And they won.
Braun is reportedly set to be Seth’s Universal Title challenger at Clash of Champions, so I thought he’d just turn here to set that up.
I was wrong, clearly. I guess we’ll see where this unexpected twist goes…
