There were more hands on deck for WrestleMania 37 than you might have realized. While there was a set number of wrestlers to be featured on the show, several absent WWE stars were still backstage.
Fightful Select (subscription required) have reported that WWE stars Jinder Mahal, Peyton Royce, and Ivar were all backstage at the show. It was also noted that all of them were there in full gear. Ivar in particular has been sidelined for over seven months with a major injury.
The report also states that the entire roster was not present at WrestleMania. There were several performers who were not at the venue and some who were not in Tampa at all. This would lead one to believe that at least at one point there was a reason for Royce, Mahal and Ivar to be at the venue.
Of course, none of them appeared on the show. We will provide updates on the statuses of any of these performers as soon as more details become available.
