It has been reported that former Lucha Underground and AAA talent Sexy Star (real name Dulce Garcia) has been hospitilized in Guatemala.
As per PWInsider (original coverage in Spanish here), Garcia planned to wrestle on a Robles Promotions show. She reportedly was rushed to hospital following severe abdominal pain.
Garcia is currently recovering from emergency surgery for appendicitis. It was noted that she plans to return to Mexico once she leaves hospital.
Garcia has been a controversial figure in pro-wrestling since attempting to legitimately injure Rosemary at AAA Triplemanía XXV in 2017. Numerous reports after this incident claimed that Garcia has attempted to shoot-wrestle on several different occasions.
The Sexy Star moniker was recently been revived in AAA, with this iteration portrayed by Hija de Gatubela.
