AEW Dynamite x Shark Week is happening on the July 20th edition of AEW Dynamite featuring a wild sounding match to celebrate the occasion.
On tonight’s AEW Rampage, a wild match was announced related to Shark Week as there is yet another collision of philosophies as Eddie Kingston will take on Chris Jericho again but this time with another fascinating stipulation.
Announced on AEW Rampage was a Fyter Fest Week 2 Shark Week affiliated edition of AEW Dynamite that will feature a Barbed Wire Death Match between Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho with the members of the Jericho Appreciation Society suspended in a shark cage.
It is unclear if there has ever been a match stipulation that more adequately portrayed both ‘professional wrestling!’ AND ‘sports entertainment!’ at the same time.
Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho have continued their literal blood feud, even on from the brutal Blood & Guts match.
They previously tangled at the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing in May 2022.
