There has been a spoiler on AEW World Champion MJF’s scheduled match for the upcoming AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view.
MJF retained the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at last night’s AEW Dynamite Grand Slam show at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Also on last night’s show, it was announced that a four-way tag team match would take place on AEW Rampage Grand Slam, with the winning team facing MJF and Adam Cole for the ROH World Tag Team Championship at WrestleDream.
The match featured the Hardys taking on Best Friends, the Righteous and the Kingdom for a right to challenge for the titles.
On the Rampage tapings following Dynamite, Vincent and Dutch of the Righteous picked up the win, earning them a shot at Better Than You Bay Bay at WrestleDream.
Also on Rampage, a championship change took place, which you can read about here.
WrestleDream will also feature an AEW World Tag Team Championship match, pitting FTR against Aussie Open.
Also set for the show is Bryan Danielson taking on Zack Sabre Jr and Swerve Strickland taking on Adam Page.
