On AEW Rampage, Chris Jericho came out with the entire Jericho Appreciation Society.
Jericho proclaimed himself to be the greatest ROH World Champion of all time, before Claudio Castagnoli came out and challenged him to a title match.
Jericho rejected the idea, telling Castagnoli that he had nothing to offer him.
However, Matt Menard then suggested that if Castagnoli loses the match not only would ne not be champion, but he would also have to join the Jericho Appreciation Society. Jericho and Castagnoli both agreed to the stipulation, setting up the main event for the pay-per-view.
Jericho originally won his ROH Championship from Castagnoli at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam on September 21.
The two also faced each other in a four-way match that also included Sammy Guevara and Bryan Danielson at AEW Full Gear, which saw Jericho retain the title.
Ring of Honor Final Battle will take place on Saturday, December 10 at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
