Following her latest defense on AEW Battle of the Belts X, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena has reached a new championship milestone.
On the April 13 AEW Battle of the Belts X show, Athena defeated Red Velvet to retain the ROH Women’s World Championship in the main event.
This was the latest defense in the historic reign of “The Fallen Goddess,” which started at ROH Final Battle 2022.
On April 23, Athena celebrated 500 days as the reigning and defending Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion.
This reign has seen the former Ember Moon defeat the likes of Willow Nightingale, Mercedes Martinez, Nyla Rose, Billie Starkz and Hikaru Shida.
Athena also made history by becoming the first woman to headline and win the main event of ROH pay-per-view. She has headlined both ROH Death Before Dishonor 2023 and ROH Final Battle 2023.
WrestleTalk would like to congratulate Athena on her legendary ROH Women’s World Championship reign.
