Here’s Why WWE WrestleMania 41 Will Take Place During Easter Weekend WWE

The real reason why WWE WrestleMania 41 will be taking place on Easter weekend has now been revealed.

Following reports indicating that next year’s WrestleMania event will take place in Las Vegas, WWE confirmed that WrestleMania 41 will emanate from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.

WWE also announced that the two-night event will take place across April 19 and 20, 2025, which is later in the month than when WWE typically holds WrestleMania events.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Las Vegas wanted WWE to visit during a weekend where tourism is usually bad, so that WWE fans would boost tourism for that week.

Noting that WWE also wanted to avoid a date at the beginning of April due to March Madness, Meltzer said:

“Easter weekend, that’s what Vegas wanted. Vegas wanted it because, they wanted them in when it’s traditionally not a good weekend for tourism.

“That’s the reason they wanted them in, they wanted them in on a weekend that’s not good for tourism, so that they will have a great weekend because lots of people are going to come in.

“WWE just wanted to make sure they were away from the (NCAA March Madness) Final Four. There were two dates noted, the first weekend of May and the Easter weekend.

“Traditionally WWE has always avoided Easter, but the city of Las Vegas wanted Easter. That’s the deal.”
