Spoiler On Two WWE NXT Stars Set For September 9 SmackDown

Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to provide the blue brand’s follow up from Clash at the Castle in Cardiff last weekend, which saw NXT’s Solo Sikoa arrive on the WWE main roster to help Roman Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre.

Sikoa was officially moved to the SmackDown roster this week, and is reportedly set to be involved in a big way on tonight’s show, but he’s not the only NXT star set to appear on the show.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), former two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction are set for tonight’s episode of the show, where they will face off against WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah in non-title action.

Gigi and Jacy were defeated on this week’s episode of NXT 2.0 by Nikki A.S.H and Doudrop. They were reportedly set to be called up to SmackDown after their appearance in the Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament, which didn’t end up happening due to an injury suffered by Gigi Dolin.

Raquel and Aliyah are set to defend their titles against Dakota Kai and IYO SKY of Damage CTRL on next week’s WWE Raw show.
