“Penta El Zero Miedo defeated Jay Lethal in a Grand Slam World Title eliminator quarterfinal match.
A recap package overviews Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara’s issues. They eventually settle on having a match against one another at Grand Slam to settle their outstanding issues before planning on continuing together as Le Sex Gods to chase the tag team titles.
Hikaru Shida, Sky Blue, and Britt Baker defeated Taya Valkyrie, Anna Jay, and The Bunny when Baker submitted The Bunny with a lockjaw. At some point during the match, the Bunny shoved Baker into Shida, who was unhappy with Baker after the match.
The Young Bucks defeated Daddy Magic Matt Menard and Cool Hand Angelo Parker (with Jake Hager)
Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Hardy in a Grand Slam World Title eliminator quarterfinal match.
Joe will now face Penta on Collision this Saturday.
That means the two semi-finals on Saturday’s Collision will be Roderick Strong vs Darby Allin, and Penta El Zero Miedo vs Samoa Joe.
The winners of those matches will advance to face each other in the final on next week’s Dynamite.
And then the winner of the final will challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship at Dynamite Grand Slam a week later.
